I started this adventure to help you break rules, shatter limits, and tap into the raw power you forgot you had. There’s nothing like watching people face fears, rise strong, and come alive in the wild.
Let's discover who you truly are when you step away from the noise and into nature.
At some point in our lives, we've all felt it: that primal, core part of our being that calls out for the wild, the part of our humanity that modern society has subdued over the years.
Like many people, I was taught to go to college, get a job, get married, have kids, and live happily ever after. Not once did I consider that chasing the societal idea of “success” would lead me to an unfulfilling and unhappy life.
A New York native, I left my career in real estate law in 2018 to embark on a journey of soul-searching that would change the course of my life forever.
There I was — sitting in my swanky corporate office, sipping Starbucks lattes under fluorescent lighting, wondering what went so terribly wrong. When suddenly it dawned on me: "There is more to life than this!" I was determined not to let one more moment of this precious life pass me by.
I took a hiatus from my career and spent 6 months traveling through Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Israel, and Japan and experienced the empowerment of outdoor adventure for the first time.
That's what inspired me to start TrekWild®.
I think everyone deserves to live a life of zest, passion, meaning, vitality, and movement. That's why I'm helping you feed your primal connection with the wild.
The wilderness lives within you, me, and all of us.

She is the foremost authority on Peruvian culture, travel, history, and spiritual practices of the ancient Quechua people.
Ignited by harnessing world travel as a vehicle to spread awareness & build community within the outdoor adventure sphere, Renae finds joy in exploring wild places and sharing them with others. From high mountain trails to desert canyons, she leads adventure travel across the U.S. and abroad, guiding hiking trips through Utah’s red rock canyons, bikepacking in Norway, and multi-sport expeditions from Alaska to the Alps.
Her own travels have taken her trekking in Nepal, diving in Australia, and hiking the iconic Pacific Crest Trail. With years of experience leading groups in remote settings, she prioritizes fostering a supportive environment that empowers people to go beyond what they thought they could achieve. She believes that extended time in nature is a reset — an opportunity to embrace challenge, reconnect with the present moment, and gain a newfound comfort with discomfort. When she’s not leading adventures, summiting mountain peaks, flying planes, or diving a shipwreck in the deep blue, you can find Renae snapping photos, authoring her next book or guiding a yoga session.

Magda’s passion for the natural world and adventure has taken her across the U.S. and Scandinavia, guiding trekking, dog sledding, and skiing adventures from Alaska to Svalbard — and many places in between. She is a versatile and experienced guide with a deep love for northern climates and all things snow-related. Magda grew up in Vermont, where she was lucky to have adventure right outside her back door — and plenty of snow and maple syrup! After studying Kinesiology and Psychology in Canada, racing sled dogs in Alaska, and guiding all over the U.S., she made her way to Scandinavia to embrace her Swedish heritage. Once there, she quickly realized the mountains were calling from across the ocean — in America! She now resides in the U.S., where snowy adventures are never far away. When not guiding, Magda enjoys pottery, baking, knitting, foraging, skiing up and down mountains, climbing, and anything involving huskies.

Born and raised in Florida, Stephen discovered the outdoors through obtaining the rank of Eagle through the Boy Scouts. The outdoors introduced him to Lady Adventure and he fell in love immediately. Lady Adventure took him to the ocean and taught him to go with the flow through surfing. When it came time to leave Florida, Stephen chased Lady Adventure out West. The deserts of Arizona taught him the meaning of wilderness and what it is to truly live. When not guiding guests in the wilderness, Stephen can be found climbing sandstone formations in Sedona, boating the Verde, backpacking the Grand Canyon and inquisitively exploring the world around him with his wife and daughter. His goal is to help you #DiscoverYourWild every day.

Hailey started backpacking early in remote wilderness areas in her home state of Idaho. A personal passion turned into a career when she began working in Outdoor Education in 2003. She earned a B.A. from Prescott College in Adventure-based Environmental Studies, and a Master’s a few years later in Experiential Education. For 20 years, she has been roaming the country and the world, saying yes to every outdoor adventure she encounters. Her favorite excursions are the ones that are long, arduous and remote. Hailey believes deeply in the power of wilderness to heal, inspire and connect. Hailey also founded a non-profit organization called Naretoi, that works with Maasai women and girls in Kenya. She spends 2-4 months a year in Kenya, and has climbed Mt. Kenya 9 times with a women’s cross-cultural expedition that she organizes annually. Hailey enjoys the challenges of the backcountry and finding new limits for her body and spirit, but she also loves to sit quietly next to a mountain creek with a steaming cup of tea and a piece of dark chocolate. Hailey is also an avid naturalist and birder!

Paul is originally from the U.S., but is now a permanent resident who has called Peru home for over 20 years. He currently resides with his family in a 150-year-old farmhouse along the Qhapaq Ñan (Inca Trail), and is deeply involved with his local community. In addition to being an official Inca Trail guide, he is the vice chairman of the local Inca Trail club, works to maintain the trail, and helps organize a trail running race on it each year.
His passion for Peruvian culture is matched only by his love of the Andes Mountains. Paul has summited all of Peru’s 100 Tallest Mountains (an average of 4 times each!) and competes in mountain running races whenever his family and schedule allow. During the dry months he can be found leading hiking, fastpacking, and trail running tours on Peru’s epic ridgelines for adventure-loving travelers.
